Homes Needed

 

We always have animals in need of new homes. These change on a daily basis so it is best to ring first to make sure the animal you are interested in is still available.

 

If you are interested in providing a home for one of them please contact Shona on  07581-878393.

 

Please note that public visiting times are 10 am to 3.30 PM Tuesday to Saturday

 

It is our policy that, prior to being re homed, all dogs are micro-chipped.(Presently suspended whilst a new, reasonably priced, supplier can be found.)  Unfortunately we can no longer afford the cost of neutering all our animals but they will all be health checked.

 

A home suitability check will also be carried out prior to the animal being released to you.

 

We hope you will understand that the costs involved in ensuring you get a healthy, well fed animal are considerable and, in an extreme case, can exceed £300.

 

It is for that reason that we ask for a minimum contribution of £35 to partially offset our costs.

Spotty Dog is a 2.5 years old male who has

shown an eye for sheep if someone would like to give him a try.

BENNY is a  dog whose age we do not know.

He is castrated.  

His great love is  being in a car - moving or not.

Bailey

Please help me re home Bailey.  Due to illness I can no longer give him the exercise and attention he needs

He is three years past September (not sure of date) and is a Spaniel cross He has a very good temperament. He is high energy and would be ideal for a family or working environment where he gets                                plenty of exercise.
 

Bailey is still with his owner and in such cases Arthurshiel can not accept any responsibility for the details given.

MAGIC

Magic is a 1 year old Collie.  He needs a home without small children and preferably with an owner who understands the breed.  He is good in the car and with other dogs.

Special Urgent Appeal.

In conjunction with the introduction of our new website we are installing a webcam at the Centre.  

This will, hopefully if technical limits allow, produce live pictures of some of the animals such as Finlay Fox or Lewis the Owl, however we have discovered a problem which some kind supporter might be able to help us with.

Our problem is that the Centre laptop computer is so old and worn out that it is not capable if receiving the input from the webcam.   In short we desperately need a more modern laptop and we wonder if anyone has a decent working laptop they no longer use - possibly you have bought a new one and still have your old one - if so could you please contact Shona on the usual number (or email) or Webmaster Jim Paterson on 01578-722409
